Ellyse and Bobby were such a fun couple to work with! Their Wedding took place on a VERY hot Summer day in July. They had an outdoor ceremony overlooking Bass Rocks.
This was a complete DIY Wedding and it was so gorgeous! Everything from the Arch at the alter to the centerpieces, was completely handmade by Ellyse & her helpful family and friends. The theme was beachy/romance with accents of lavender, blue, and grey, and it worked perfectly in our Atlantic Room.
The reception was so much fun. Both sides of the family happened to be very talented! The Bride’s parents surprised the couple with a flash dance to get the party started. The band Groove Authority kept the guests dancing all throughout the night. There was even a song played by Bobby’s Grandpa on the keyboard! All the friends and family had such a great night, showering the new Mr. & Mrs. with so much love!

Kate and Michael were absolutely delightful to work with. We had so much fun planning their April 2016 waterfront wedding. We actually hosted his sister Courtney’s wedding last year, where Michael was the officiant and gave one of the cleverest services I have ever heard.
They were married inside on the dance floor in one of the most intimate of services. Their son was wheeled down the aisle in a wagon, so precious. This was also one of the largest wedding parties we have hosted in a while. I must complement them all on their involvement and excitement for this couple. It was clear to see the love in the air.
Having hosted the family last year there was a sense of familiarity. I knew the parents of the groom as if they were old neighbors. It was so much fun to see them all again. Including Courtney and Maggie! Another one of my favorite weddings. Yes, they are all my favorite. How do you actually choose when there is so much love and excitement in the air? I knew this family was one to have fun, from the rehearsal to the last dance they had a ball. You could never tell who belonged to which family as they were all one.
From the moment you walked in the hall and saw their clever seating chart woven into a pair of old French doors you knew this was something special. They chose to use a small bench for their guest book, another clever idea. It didn’t stop there. Keane Floral Design was their florist of choice, a friend of the couple who designed their centerpieces which added just the right touch.
Creative Catering was the caterer that they had chosen who did an incredible job as always. Catering to their every need.
The first dance was performed by the sister in laws band. Incredible! They entertained the guests during cocktail hour.
The DJ of night was DJ Obie from 617 Weddings who kept them dancing, all night long!!! As you can see by the looks on their faces, captured by Susan Nicole Photography, so much fun was had by all who attended this wonderful celebration of love!
